PRIMARY FUNCTION Manufacturing Schedulers develop and manage schedules for production managers for the manufacturing teams. They assist production managers with schedule planning, coordinating tasks, and monitor the timelines of scheduled assignments. They also identify potential scheduling delays and facilitate remedial action. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop, maintain, and manage production schedules in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) utilizing Dnyafact Manufacturing System (DMS).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subcontractors to track progress against schedule baselines and ensure alignment with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Perform schedule analysis using Critical Path Method (CPM) and Critical Chain Method (CCM) to identify schedule risks and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) using both quantitative and qualitative techniques.
- Provide regular status updates to Production Management, highlighting schedule variances, impacts, and corrective action plans.
- Support Government program reviews and DCMA audits by supplying schedule data, metrics, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure schedules adhere to Earned Value Management (EVM) standards and reporting practices.
- Assist in the development and delivery of schedule-related training to internal stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the production and program execution lifecycle.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None, this position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent schedules and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in data entry and interpretation, with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex schedule data clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
- High degree of professionalism, accountability, and discretion, especially in classified or export-controlled environments.
- Knowledge of risk management techniques related to scheduling and experience with SRA tools.
QUALIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of related scheduling experience, or
High school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience. - Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Project, Excel, and scheduling systems relevant to production environments.
- Working knowledge of EVM principles.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- DAU certifications in Fundamentals of EVM and Systems Acquisition Management.
- Experience working within a DoD or government contractor environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations involving CNC machining and close-tolerance parts.
- Prior experience supporting cost/schedule integration in a production or program control role.
- Prior experience supporting EVM-based programs is preferred.
Work Environment
- This role is primarily office-based with periodic engagement on the production floor.
- Must be able to interface effectively with production staff, engineers, program managers, and government representatives.
- Must be comfortable working in a secure, structured environment with defined protocols and reporting standards.
