As a Senior Principal Silicon Engineering Strategist, you will be a key member of the Central Engineering group, the core team responsible for delivering best-in-class silicon IP and foundational technologies used across Marvell's product portfolio.

Central Engineering at Marvell is a global organization that develops and supports advanced IP blocks, methodologies, and tools critical to the company's SoC designs. The team enables scalability, quality, and innovation across product lines, partnering with business units to ensure successful execution of high-performance, power-efficient, and reliable silicon. Our focus spans analog and digital IP, verification, physical design, validation infrastructure, and test automation-building the backbone of Marvell's silicon leadership.

As part of this team, you'll lead silicon validation strategy, guiding efforts that ensure our IP and products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

What You Can Expect

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive silicon validation strategies that align with product and business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, architecture, firmware, and test teams to ensure validation coverage across pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
  • Technical Excellence: Analyze test results and debug failures to identify root causes, while driving continuous improvement in validation methodologies and tools.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate validation activities across internal and external stakeholders and communicate technical status, risks, and mitigations clearly.

What We're Looking For

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in silicon validation, architecture, or related roles, with deep understanding of the silicon lifecycle.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in pre/post-silicon validation, test automation, and debug methodologies. Strong familiarity with high-speed interfaces, SoC integration, and system-level test environments.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication ability to influence across technical and business teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of system-level validation and root cause analysis
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in silicon validation
  • Experience with hardware-software integration testing
  • Ability to lead and mentor engineers in a fast-paced environment

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

164,650 - 246,700, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
