The Culinary Institute of Michigan, Muskegon Campus is seeking Adjunct Faculty in Table Service to join our Culinary Team! The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of relevant experience, with preference given to those holding ACF (American Culinary Federation) certification or an equivalent credential. Alternatively, an Associate's degree combined with three years of relevant experience is also acceptable. They should be capable of teaching a wide range of subjects, including table service, beer & wine styles, sanitation, mixology, and foodservice management, in both lab and lecture settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and Internet use is essential, as well as strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Experience with Toast POS is preferred. The newly appointed Adjunct Faculty member will be responsible for teaching up to 9 credit hours per semester, as well as revising, reviewing, or developing curriculum as assigned. In addition, they will be required to attend all mandated professional development and training sessions and ensure the collection and submission of student learning assessment data. Active participation in campus and system-wide committees, meetings, projects, and other related activities will also be expected.
