About the Role:

Performs a variety of functions within the Logistics Center which includes shipping, receiving and inventory control. ; Possesses a ;broad knowledge of Warehouse Management System. Releases work assignments and conducts research. Troubleshoots and researches discrepancies within the Logistics Center. Communicates feedback and solutions for resolution.

$21.39/hr.

Hours 10:00 am to 6:30 pm

What You'll Do:
  • Moves readily from function to function within the Logistics Center.

  • Responds to questions regarding one or more area(s) of expertise. Resolves complex problems in one or more area(s) of expertise.

  • Reviews, assesses and releases all tasks.

  • Analyzes work flows to maximize utilization of facility labor

  • Monitors daily order processing to improve work flow.

  • Researches and reconciles problem orders to meet facility timelines.

  • Conducts investigations to reconcile inventory discrepancies. Performs necessary system transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.

  • Collects, analyzes, and maintains statistics and recommends courses of action.

  • Participates in inventory activities.

  • Participates in process improvement actions within the facility and the logistics network.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

  • Meets attendance and punctuality standards.

Previous Work Experience

  • Over 3 years of experience in high-volume logistics and warehouse operations.

  • Proficient in the operation of material handling equipment (preferred).

  • Extensive experience with logistics functions and systems, including SAP-WMS, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

Education/Certifications

  • Required: High School Diploma or G.E.D.

  • Preferred: Associate's Degree.

  • Skilled at working under pressure to meet deadlines and manage high workloads.

  • Competent in the effective use of material handling equipment.

  • Ability to follow and execute both oral and written instructions, with a proactive approach to requesting clarification when necessary.

  • Clear and effective communicator, capable of conveying important information to colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Committed to maintaining and promoting social, ethical, and organizational standards in both internal and external business interactions.

  • Strong proficiency in basic mathematical calculations.

  • Quick to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

  • Able to serve as a resource for resolving complex problems and challenges.

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, consistently driving tasks to completion.

  • Advanced proficiency with computer applications, including spreadsheets, word processors, databases, and other relevant systems.

Working Conditions:

Distribution center environment which includes exposure to extreme temperatures moderate and consistent noise levels work at varying heights hot and dry and wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions.

Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
