Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Hoffman Estates, IL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Draw on engineering documents, CAD models, and interactions with engineers to create and revise written and animated service procedures (installation, repair, maintenance) for hardware and software.
• Work with subject matter experts to gain a deep understanding of products and services and translate complex information into polished content.
• Develop content in alternative media forms, with consistent voice across all documentation
• Test and validate service procedures involving Software, Hardware and Remote Service on physical systems.
• Performing updates to our servicing procedures to achieve optimal service performance in areas of Software Installation, Upgrades, and Removal & Replacements.
• Evaluate and prioritize changes and corrections submitted by field technicians.
• Collaborate with Design & Development Teams, Marketing, Sales, and Field Service.
• Participate in and lead productivity initiatives.
• Perform well in deadline driven projects.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in a Communications or Computer Science or Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical writing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with complex mechanical and electrical systems.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with CAD and BOM structures.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in animating 3D models.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with tools like Allen Keyes, screwdrivers, torque wrenches.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with structured writing tools (Cosima or ArborText).
• Experience with medical imaging systems (PET, CT, SPECT, MR).
• Team enter and SAP.
• Knowledge of PTC Vuforia Studio (or similar).
• Experience with video editing and key framing.
• Experience with Creo Illustrate.
• Experience in BioMed manufacturing with PTC software.
• Knowledge of diagnostic imaging.
• Experience with Siemens or GE scanners.
• Familiarity with PTC Software Euphoria Studio.
• Ability to take actions and communicate them effectively.
• Must have excellent communication skills, particularly in writing.
• Are curious and eager to learn technical concepts and pursue emerging technologies such as Extended Reality.
• Detail oriented.
• Possess excellent time management and project organization skills.
• Self-starting and can work with minimal direction.
