- The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of complex electrical systems, with specialized expertise in PLC integration, high-tension electrical projects, switch gear management, transformer systems, and HTLC panels.
- This role needs advanced technical knowledge and leadership skills to direct projects, develop standards, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of all electrical infrastructure.
- Reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules may be subject to change to meet company needs and business requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex electrical systems and control architectures.
- Develop and implement advanced PLC programming solutions and automation strategies.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee high-tension electrical projects from concept to completion.
- Design, specify, and manage the installation of electrical switch gears and transformers.
- Develop standards and specifications for HTLC panels and control systems.
- Lead electrical system upgrades and modernization initiatives.
- Conduct power studies, load calculations, and system analyses to optimize electrical infrastructure.
- Develop short and long-term electrical infrastructure improvement strategies.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex electrical issues and system failures.
- Develop electrical engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians on electrical engineering principles.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage electrical capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement energy conservation measures for electrical systems.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for significant electrical failures.
- Implement comprehensive electrical safety programs and protocols.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors on specialized electrical projects.
