    Qualifications:
    MN teaching License K-12 MN Visual Art Teaching License.
    Must be proficient and highly skilled in the areas of ceramics including both wheel throwing and hand-building.

    Pay Rate/Range: NEA Agreement BA1 -$55,441 - MA40-$91,619. Base pay DOQ - Subject to change upon the settlement of the 25-27 Master Agreement.

    Job Summary:
    Under the direction of the High School Principal, the Teacher is responsible for developing lesson plans to present district curriculum in assigned instructional subjects; delivering and instructing students in lesson plans and instructional material; evaluating and assessing student progress against instructional outcomes and objectives.

    Responsibilities:
    • Other areas of emphasis will be on developing positive relationships with students.
    • Teaching beginning foundation-level courses.
    • Creating new and innovative visual art curriculum.
    • Working as part of a close-knit team with the other visual art teachers.
    • Curating gallery shows and maintaining art displays within the high school building.
