Position Title: CNC Laser Table Operator
Salary: $23-$25/hour BOE Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday to Friday Join a growing, 100% employee-owned company with industry-leading benefits and a modern, team-oriented work environment. We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine/Table Operator to join our team and contribute to high-quality manufacturing in a collaborative, fast-paced shop. This is a direct hire opportunity for a company in Kansas City, KS. CNC Laser Table Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Design/select cutting tools as needed - Test program to ensure machining operation(s) complying with print and specifications - Ensure proper CNC program details are set up for the operator to run the assigned work order - Identify and maintain the quality of the work being performed - Maintain work area - Follow established safety practices - All other duties as assigned CNC Laser Table Operator Requirements: - High school degree or equivalent - Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a CNC machine operator with burn table experience or other related CNC machine operation in heavy industry or similar demonstrated numerically controlled machine operation abilities - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, production schedules, work instructions, and procedure manuals - Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and information furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form - Mechanical aptitude - Must have strong attention to detail - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions - Ability to communicate and work well with others throughout the organization - Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in unique situations - Lifting, standing, bending, pushing, pulling, etc. - Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds - Long periods of standing - Frequent kneeling and bending and considerable use of hands and tools Benefits: 401(k) matching, Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, Paid time off, Parental leave, Retirement plan QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
