Job Overview
Job Title: Process Support 2 - NDT Assistant - 2nd Shift Reports to: Value Stream Manager Location: Kent, WA Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt (hourly) Schedule: 2nd Shift; Training on 1st Shift for approximately 90 days. Hytek production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday - Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.) Job Summary Employees in this position will learn how to perform tasks in support of the Level 1 and Level II Non-Destructive Testing Inspector(s) including loading, running, and unloading the ovens for stress bakes and vapor degreasing. To succeed in this role, the NDT Assistant will maintain and organize a daily schedule of process bake times and communicate appropriately to variable departments including, but not limited to, NDT and Plating. NDT Assistants perform operations in accordance with Military and OEM specifications. Responsibilities

Essential Mental/Physical Demands
Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and fumes from metal finishing chemicals. Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and respirator (provided by Company).
