***GULFPORT, MS** - PC Technician*
*Description* *** Must be eligible to pass a fingerprint back ground check that checks all misdemeanors and felonies in all states across the entire lifespan of the individual.*** Our TEKsystem's Client is looking for 2 PC Technicians to help with project based hardware deployment projects for a 3 month contract. We are looking for candidates who have prior IT hardware/software installation, troubleshooting, and support experience. 2 of the major projects these people will be supporting are the Windows 11 PC/Desktop deployment and a hardware swap/deployment at their newly acquired Biloxi location. The newly acquired Biloxi location has new hardware and there are several hundred devices at the Gulfport site that are not compatible with Windows 11 and need to be replaced. These 2 resources will be responsible for swapping out the new PCs and desktops at the newly acquired Biloxi hospital with Thin clients, and then will be using that hardware for Gulfport's Windows 11 project for the devices that they have to replace that are not compatible with windows 11. *Technical Skills:* This person will provide technical support and troubleshooting, assistance, and ticket resolution for personal computers, iOS devices, peripherals, and wireless networking. Utilize their installation checklist to document installs and set ups for hardware equipment listed above Microsoft teams support - this team gets a lot of tickets from end users who are wanting to know how to use Microsoft Teams so this person needs to have the ability to troubleshoot and walk users through how to use it. O365 - This person will help distribute licenses, troubleshoot error messages, wireless PC issues, send out remote updates, etc. Some remote updates that are sent out don't always complete right away so this person will have to go to their PC and troubleshoot the issue. Other standard desktop related issues that arise. Could be hardware or software issues so this person needs to have the ability to troubleshoot and asks the right questions. *Skills* Desktop, Imaging, Deployment, Hardware, Troubleshooting, Technical support, Customer service, Install, Hardware support, Desktop troubleshooting, desktop hardware, installation, Migration, Support, Active directory, Help desk support, Microsoft, Printers, Ticketing system, Cabling, Help desk, Hardware/software *Top Skills Details* Desktop, Imaging, Deployment, Hardware, Troubleshooting, Technical support, Customer service, Install, Hardware support, Desktop troubleshooting, desktop hardware, installation *Additional Skills & Qualifications* We are looking for someone who is outgoing and can mesh well with the team, has a positive attitude and personality, willing to learn and be trained on hospital systems, retain the knowledge they've been taught, on time every day, good customer service skills, etc. Our client likes technicians who are self-motivated and will try to troubleshoot the issue before immediately asking for help. Sometimes this team comes across issues that they have never seen before, but the internet is their friend. The manager tells his team to try any 3 things before asking for help. If they do have to ask for help they need to have all information when reaching out to someone - What the problem is, what they tried to do to fix the issue, what error they got while trying to fix it - all before reaching out to someone else. *Experience Level* Entry Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $21.15/hr.
