Position Summary:

As a Lending System Analyst II, you will report directly to the Director of Consumer Lending Underwriting and Quality Assurance and will work closely with our Lending System vendors and internal teams to ensure quality loan application and digital services are delivered to our members. You will support the day-to-day operations, design, and implementation of assigned credit union loan products and services, and test systems related to the Lending System by complying with relevant standards, policies, operating procedures, and service level agreements for the Consumer Lending System. Knowledge of the lending process, an investigative mind, and effective oral and written communication skills are essential for this position. Provide end-user helpdesk support. Acts as the liaison between the LOS and Information Technology departments and Origence. Ensure systems are maintained within company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Performing other duties, as needed, for optimal performance of the Consumer Lending Operating System by the Director of Consumer Lending Underwriting and Quality Assurance and AVP of Consumer Lending. Remains cognizant of and adheres to credit union policies and procedures, and regulations. Performs duties and responsibilities in accordance with The Apple Way principles, of Team Up, Serve with Purpose, Challenge Yourself and Own It.

Responsibilities:

30% Lending System

  • Responsible for the operation of the credit union's Lending 360 loan origination system and related systems and integrations.
  • Technical liaison on Lending projects with integration to the lending systems operations and online loan applications. Tests and makes recommendations for system improvements and updates, which may include pre and post implementation plans.
  • Responsible for support and maintenance of third-party integrations to the lending system
  • Work with other departments and various vendors as necessary to ensure smooth transition in every deployment, upgrade, and system outage including on-call availability.
  • Track and report identified issues to various vendors and management.
  • Serve as Tester/Co-Ordinator or project team member to support the planning, coordination, execution, and document project activities independently as assigned by the Director of Consumer Lending Underwriting and Quality assurance and as required when supporting local and enterprise-level projects.

40% Lending Application Support

  • Provide technical support services for lending system applications including digital storefront, online loan application, core banking, AI machine learning, and their related integrations
  • Serve as a support escalation resource for lending system applications within the Consumer Lending department as well as between IT and department product owners
  • Supports incoming requests and issues from end-users via the LOS helpdesk system, telephone, or e- mail. Documents and tracks system changes.
  • Create, maintain and utilize standard operating procedures for the operation, maintenance, and upgrades of applications including associated change management procedures
  • Participate in incident response for issues impacting the operation of applications and work with IT, other analysts, product owners, and vendor technical support teams to resolve issues
  • Track production issues and report periodically to group charged with monitoring uptime and efficiency of production application(s).
  • Conducts regular system audits to include but not limited to Adverse Actions, Auto decisioned applications, and system integrations.

15% Continuous Improvement Contribution

  • Collaborate with analysts, vendors, and system users in the testing of new functionality, and interoperability of applications, including providing quarterly data reports to Zest AI.
  • Assist with the evaluation, testing, and communication of Lending System services and integrations, including the analysis of deficiencies and recommends improvements to address problems.
  • Support the release management plans as part of application deployment projects, application updates and upgrades to ensure the application functions and operates per defined requirements, regulations, and specifications
  • Research, recommend, apply, and utilize software tools and peripherals to monitor production outputs, reports, and files to ensure optimal performance and uphold quality and security standards

15% Lending Operating System Processes

  • Responsible for training, creating, updating, and maintaining documentation of department's operating procedures and best practices
  • Contributes and assist in achieving the strategic objectives of the credit union
  • Adaptable in supporting multiple support areas and locations with varying technology needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum Two to four years of similar or related experience required.
  • AA, BA/BS degree with an emphasis in Business, IT/IS, Computer Science preferred or equivalent combination of relevant Lending Operating System experience.
  • Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
  • Must have strong analytical, problem-solving and organization abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience required with Lending Systems and Banking vendors, including Origence, XDI, Zest AI, Trustage, Fintech's, Credit Reporting agencies, and Jack Henry Symitar EASE required.
  • Experience with Atlassian products, including JIRA required.
  • Experience required creating detailed Excel reports required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word.
  • Utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, fax, copier, telephone, etc. Ability to lift 25lbs. or more.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced financial institution back office environment.
