Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Access & Reimbursement (ARM) Operations is a key and operational leader responsible for driving excellence across access programs and field operations. This role partners closely with the ARM leadership team to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and improve customer experience. The Senior Manager collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to optimize performance, implement technology solutions, and ensure the successful execution of reimbursement strategies. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver and strong communicator, with deep experience inpatient access, field team support, and fulfillment processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations and performance of ARM programs, ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
* Coordinate across Market Access, Patient Services, Specialty Pharmacies and ARM teams.
* Support ARM leadership in developing and executing strategic plans to improve team productivity, operational efficiency, and overall customer (HCP and patient) experience.
* Lead process improvement efforts to enhance collaboration between ARM teams and patient services operations.
* Implement and optimize tools and technologies (e.g., CRM systems, data dashboards, tracking platforms) to support the ARM field team and fulfillment process.
* Analyze key operational metrics to generate actionable insights for continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with commercial teams to provide access insights and support pull-through strategies.
* Manage budgets for ARM-related initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and corporate policies related to ARM activities.

Education/Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field; Master's degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) preferred.
* Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in market access, reimbursement operations, patient services, or healthcare operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
* Strong understanding of payer landscapes, reimbursement pathways (public and private), specialty pharmacy distribution, and hub models.
* Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in a complex, regulated environment.
* Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy and strategic influence.

Additional Skills/Experience/Requirements:

* Experience launching new products or indications in the U.S. market.
* Familiarity with specialty products and/or rare disease therapies.
* Knowledge of relevant regulatory and legal guidelines (e.g., OIG, CMS, HIPAA).
* Well organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage shifting responsibilities in a dynamic, cross-functional teamwork environment.
* Excellent collaboration skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and manage complexity.
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
* Successful record of creating and managing complex project plans, timelines, budgets, and critical paths.
* Ability to adapt to modification and changes to project plans, demonstrating flexibility to implement new strategies and tactics to accommodate these changes.
* Ability to travel up to 30% domestically.
* All positions have an essential job function to be able to perform face to face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego. No role is expected to be 100% remote.

Compensation: Our competitive compensation package includes a combination of both cash compensation (base pay and short-term incentive) and long-term incentive compensation (company stock), designed to recognize, retain, and reward employees.

Target Base Pay Range:

$128,000.00 - $165,000.00
