Position Summary: The Senior Contracts Specialist will support designated business groups in the management of the contracts process. The Senior Contracts Specialist will work with business subject matter experts to define the business terms of contracts and will be the point person for managing, processing and administering contracts according to company policies and processes. Responsible for initiating and tracking all new and existing departmental contracts in areas of support. Functions as a liaison between different areas of the business such as Strategic Procurement, Purchasing, Legal, Finance and vendors for contractual matters. This role requires excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Responsibilities:
Support business on the management of a wide variety of contracts and agreements such as master services agreements, collaboration agreements, nondisclosure agreements, service contracts, or other complex agreements. Partner with internal customers and external vendors to support contract needs and align strategic priorities. Manage contract workflows and maintain accurate and detailed records using a contract lifecycle management system. May be asked to negotiate vendor business terms in contracts such as scope, price, payment terms for routine contracts. Manage the administration, processing and completion process of agreements negotiated by Travere Legal as well as those finalized independently. Review and finalize contracts that utilize existing templates including consulting agreements, services agreements, confidentiality agreements, statements of work, change orders and potentially other types of self service agreements. Review contract components for accuracy, consistency and adherence with company policies. Submit requisitions and contract requests, monitor the approval process and ensure contract reviews, approvals and renewals are obtained in a timely manner. Coordinates the management of purchase orders with contracts and ensures purchase orders are funded or terminated as needed. Monitor expiring contracts and work with the businesses to determine the need for an Amendment, Change Order or termination. Partner with IT for any system requirements for vendors. Familiarity with the structure and use of Master Agreements, Work Orders, Change Orders and other contracts required. Drive tasks to execution by partnering with departments to obtain contract information and resolve any contract issues. Field and troubleshoot employee and vendor questions and research contract processing concerns/questions. Closely monitor contract turnaround times and escalate concerns when necessary. Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite, Agiloft, Coupa and other business specific software. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of contract templates, SOPs, and processes.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered. Minimum 4+ years of experience preferably with service provider selection in a contracts management or administration role.
Additional Skills/Experience/Requirements:

Strong professional experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry. Well organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage shifting responsibilities in a dynamic, cross-functional teamwork environment. Excellent collaboration skills with strong attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Successful record of adhering with complex project plans, timelines. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with strong attention to detail. Experience with contract lifecycle management tools a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to travel up to 10 % domestic and internationally. All positions have an essential job function to be able to perform face to face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego. No role is expected to be 100% remote.

Target Base Pay Range: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00
