.NET Architect ( Payment provider domain) On-site

We are seeking a highly experienced .NET Architect specializing in the payment provider domain to join our diverse team. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience and a strong background in SQL Server, C#, React JS, SQL Azure, JavaScript, and the .NET Framework. This is a On-site work model with day shifts and no travel required. The role involves leading software development projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and contributing to the company's innovative solutions.

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and encouraging continuous learning and growth.
• Service Development: Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise services and microservices for digital payments infrastructure.
• Engineering Practices: Drive modern software engineering practices through design reviews.
• System Design: Work on system design, conduct code reviews, and leverage data/telemetry for decision-making.
• Service Quality: Ensure services are well-defined, modularized, reusable, secure, reliable, diagnosable, and actively supervised.
• Testing and Integration: Enhance test coverage, prioritize integration tests, and resolve issues.
• Code Readiness: Ensure code is testable, portable, monitorable, reliable, and maintainable.
• Multi-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to implement scalable and reliable digital payment solutions.
• Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analysis, identify areas for improvement, and recommend innovative solutions.
• DevOps Collaboration: Work with DevOps teams for smooth deployment and operation of services.
• Data-driven Focus: Address business needs through a data-driven approach.

• 15 + years of experience IN Strong C#/.net skills required. Coding exercise will be provided in the interview.
• Strong Azure Architecture / product experience, mainly in Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, etc.,
• Payment Gateway / Payment provider domain experience. Must be having good knowledge in security standards like EMV, managing wallets, security vaults, etc., and must have integrated 3rd party payment systems.

The annual salary for this position is between $138K - $162K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
