Position Title: Welder/Fabricator
Wage: $20-$24/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-4:30pm Monday-Friday QPS Employment Group is hiring a Welder/Fabricator for a company in Springfield, MO. This is an associate to hire role. Welder/Fabricator Warehouse Administrator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform a variety of welding operations with a commitment to innovation, continuously exploring ways to improve techniques and efficiencies - Fabricate metal components and structures based on engineering specifications and blueprints, taking ownership of the quality and precision in each piece Welder/Fabricator Warehouse Administrator Requirements: - Proven experience as a welder and fabricator in a manufacturing or construction environment - Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, Stick and the use of tools; also will use stainless, aluminum, and carbon steel - Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics - Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and commitment to delivering creative, high quality work - Familiarity with welding safety standards and equipment maintenance - Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in a demanding environment QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
