Description

Scope of Work:

Participate in the development and support of business solutions utilizing Information Technology. Responsible for gathering requirements, configuring the ERP (JD Edwards) software performing analysis/design, development, testing, documentation, and user training to maintain and improve overall Information Systems performance. Use analysis techniques to troubleshoot complex issues to resolution.

Primary Job Responsibilities:



  • Establish system specifications and objectives, based on business requirements and cost-effectiveness, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate with others in systems development and design, including software programming, and report design.
  • Coordinate implementation of software products, including data conversion, and work with application support personnel to resolve system problems.
  • Act as liaison between system software development staff, management, and system end-users to determine requirements and obtain sign-off.


  • Strong analytical/ problem-solving skills and customer service skills.


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced understanding and experience working with cross functional team and utilizing best practices.
  • Experience in all phases of software development including design, testing, debugging and implementation


Minimum Qualifications:



  • BS/BA degree in computer science or related field or equivalent professional and technical knowledge acquired through work.


  • Three or more years of experience administering or supporting a variety of business applications and systems that may include Oracle JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle E-Business Suite or SAP.
  • Three or more years of SQL experience, Microsoft SQL server is preferred.



Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)



  • Hands on experience with JD Edwards with 9.2, at least 10 years.
  • Implementation experience with JD Edwards Distribution, Warehouse Management, Master Data Management and Inventory Management, DSI
  • Experience working on SQL, Orchestrations, BSSVs, UDOs.
  • Knowledge of Service Pro is a plus.



Working Conditions and Physical Demands:



  • Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 8m. to 5 p.m. (Nights and weekends when necessary)
  • Some travel may be required, with overnight stay
  • Sitting; occasional bending or kneeling; lift and carry a maximum 30 Lbs., reach overhead for lightweight items
  • Office/Outdoor work
