Staffmark is hiring a Senior Maintenance and Engineering Manager for a direct-hire opportunity at a premier manufacturing facility in Avery Island, LA. This is a high-impact role with strong growth potential, competitive compensation, and leadership visibility.

Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 + 25% EVA Bonus

Schedule: First Shift | Monday - Friday

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of maintenance and engineering strategies to enhance plant reliability and performance. You will manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs, oversee capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency and cost savings. A key part of your role will be ensuring a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance while also providing technical leadership for equipment installation, optimization, and troubleshooting. You'll analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct root cause analyses, and use insights to implement lasting improvements. As a team leader, you'll be responsible for training and developing maintenance staff, collaborating cross-functionally on innovation and product development, and managing departmental budgets for cost-effective operations.

What You'll Need:



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent operations experience)
  • 7+ years of maintenance/engineering experience in manufacturing
  • 5+ years in a leadership role managing teams, budgets, and engineering projects
  • Expertise in reliability engineering, predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement
  • Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work hands-on in an industrial setting and lift up to 45 lbs
