Stennis Hazardous Waste Lead (3508)

Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Stennis Hazardous Waste Lead (3508) in Stennis Space Center, MS.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all hazardous waste facilities and prepare permit applications and reports.
• Use the Government-provided Waste Management System (WMS) to maintain waste management/disposal records.
• Coordinate hazardous waste characterization sampling and analysis.
• Conduct inspections of hazardous waste accumulation sites.
• Provide overall management and operation of the 90-day hazardous waste Central Accumulation Area (CAA).
• Ensure all waste containers are properly packaged, labeled, and marked in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Prepare hazardous waste manifests and other disposal documentation

• Minimum Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in environmental or science/engineering.
• At least 6 years of direct experience in managing hazardous waste.

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
