Overview
The Imaging Technician will complete processes related to ingestion, storage and availability of Radiology Images for patients. This position is key to ensuring timely transfer and processing of images from outside facilities to allow for transfer of critical and non-critical patients to Carle. This position will assist the Radiology team in preparing anonymized images for different teaching opportunities, daily routing of results and errors, process image transfer requests and patient account merges within several Radiology systems. Responsible for sending external electronically requested images\exams for continuum of patient care. Customer Service and attention to detail are extremely important in this position. Qualifications Certification & Licensure Requirements
Responsibilities Experience with Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc) and with healthcare systems including EMR and imaging systems. Ability to work independently, prioritize work and adapt positively to changes in work environment and workload. Ability to build relationships with both internal departments and external facilities. Ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks and complete them on schedule with precise accuracy. Ability to apply problem solving skills based on departmental policy or guidelines with minimal guidance or supervision. Ability to clearly communicate with others in person, by email, in writing or by telephone. Comfortable working in a production\deadline oriented department. Ability to interpret data and be detail orientated.

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $19.25per hour - $31.19per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
