POSITION SUMMARY

Working as part of the Food and Beverage team, the Kitchen Attendant will support the culinary and service staff by providing janitorial and kitchen tasks. This is a part-time seasonal position. The pay range for this position is $20.00-$22.00/hour, based on experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware
  • Preparation for next shift by cleaning and restocking dish storage areas and cook stations
  • Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
  • Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled
  • Taking out the trash, recycling and compost and rinsing garbage cans
  • Commit to safely operating commercial dish machine
  • Remain current with company issued trainings and required certifications
  • Additional duties as assigned


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:
  • Actively pursuing a High School Diploma or equivalent, required


Experience:
  • Previous kitchen experience, preferred, not required


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Responsible and dependable - able to carry out assigned duties without supervision
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
