Service/Maintenance Support

Summary:

Under the direct supervision of a Master Electrician, the Journeyman Electrician role performs skilled electrical work in the installation, inspection, alteration, testing, maintenance and repair of complex electrical systems, machinery and equipment to provide a safe environment for patients, visitors and employees.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Trade School diploma with courses in blueprint reading, electricity, mathematics and physics preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: State license as a Journeyman Electrician required. State license as a Boiler Operator within 12 months of start date preferred. Valid Driver's License required.
  3. Experience: Four years of institutional, commercial, or industrial wiring experience required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
