We are currently hiring for:

Job Title: Senior Account Manager

Salary Range: Depending on Experience; $73,000 to $86,000

Job Summary: The Senior Account Manager contributes to the overall Business Unit specific Sales efforts of West Liberty Foods by bridging communication between the Customer, Sales, Customer Service and internal teams in a cross-functional manner. Principal responsibilities include but are not limited to serving as "Voice of the Customer" while supporting Sales, R&D, PMO, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure teams are outfitted with the information and documentation necessary to provide best-in-class service.

This position will be based out of our corporate offices in West Liberty, Iowa.

Job Responsibilities




  • Direct point of contact to WLF customers; promptly responds to customer inquiries and requests.



  • Master WLF's customer facing DRIVEN (Defined Opportunity, Review Strategic Fit, In Development, Validate & Test, Execute & Launch & Next Steps) process, and their role within ensuring all requirements are met in a timely manner.



  • Administration of customer sites and paperwork.



  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather and compile information, requiring professionalism and attention to detail while allowing a unique opportunity to learn almost all aspects of the business.



  • Ensure all audits and regulations are up to date and accounted for.



  • Set up and maintain customer accounts and projects in the Salesforce system, ensuring they remain active, up-to-date and in good status.



  • Standardize processes and improve efficiency.



  • Maintain project documentation, best practices, track metrics, and offer training.



  • Report project progress.



  • Manage the project team and their tasks.



  • Prioritize projects.



  • Ensure all projects support the overall business objectives of the company.



  • Getting projects completed within approved timeline, budget, & scope.



  • Making sure stuff doesn't get missed or skipped along the way.



  • Drive continual improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost.



  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.



  • Partner with all departments of the organization.



  • Other duties as assigned.




Job Requirements




  • 5 years of experience is preferred.



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communication or equivalent is preferred


  • Technical Skills

    • Know what tools and techniques to use for each project
    • Be able to tailor between project methodologies based on the project
    • Make time to plan thoroughly and prioritize diligently
    • Manage project elements, including, but not limited to, schedule, cost, resources, and risk

    • Work with the project team to develop the appropriate project delivery strategy
    • Able to implement strategy in a way that maximizes the business value
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Computer experience

    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Google (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
    • Salesforce.com, Smart Sheets or other Project Management Tool .


  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends according to schedule.
  • Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test and background screen.
