Summary:

The incumbent in this job is a self-starting individual who can interact with various technical and commercial topics and provides leadership and guidance in supporting team members of other departments. Knowledge of the company's rail products is required, as well as familiarity with industry trends and competitive environment. A high work ethic, a personal commitment to meeting deadlines, are prerequisites. Strong collaboration with both operations and planning is expected.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all service order fulfillment activities run according to the defined procedures and processes
• Interact directly with customers as first point of contact (for Service Sales)
• Assisting the sales team and quoting orders to customers
• Work closely with planning and operations on project planning and strong execution
• Ensure customer satisfaction through direct contact with Customer staff to fulfill quotes and service orders
• Coordinate with engineering (both local and abroad) on repair or service quote development
• Lead all internal activities required of peer departments to fulfill deadlines agreed with customers
• Provide support for Outside Sales, Field Services and Service Operations
• Provide limited product knowledge
• Assist invoice collections
• Schedule service resources
• Service inventory planning
• Maintain CRM database
• Process orders: Assist with processing POs/ Fulfill order work
• Able to understand basic Contract review according to Voith requirements
• Focused and open to coordinating globally within the Voith organization
• When required, manage commercial and technical meetings with the customer
• Works with team members in the field including field service personnel
• Interact with team members internally, Logistics, Material Handling, Engineering and Production Planning daily

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Fully fluent in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive customer experiences
• Proficiency in Microsoft office, with a strong aptitude in MS Excel
• Ability to make presentations and reports to upper management

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business or at least 4 years of related experience

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
