Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer GenAI with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 18+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Lead the development of Generative AI applications using LLMs, agentic frameworks, and emerging technologies Integrate AI models with enterprise systems and cloud products (GCP, etc.) Develop and deploy scalable applications using Java, Python, and OpenShift containers Stay current with advancements in AI and apply them to real-world enterprise solutions Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across infrastructure and codebases Lead and mentor junior engineers while ensuring risk and compliance alignment Collaborate across teams and consult on large-scale software engineering challenges Contribute to Agile planning and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering 5+ years working with Java, Python, and OpenShift container platforms 3+ years of experience in data engineering, AI/ML, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) 2+ years working with Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, and Jenkins Strong understanding of software development best practices, architecture, and deployment models Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills Pay Range: $ 60 - 70 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
