About the Role
Redhorse Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant III to provide comprehensive support to the Federal Facilities Division (FFD) within the Facilities Services Directorate at Washington Headquarters Services. This critical role ensures the smooth operation of the FFD, enabling directorates and branches to achieve their objectives. You will play a key part in supporting senior leadership, contributing to the success of vital government projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general direction, establish objectives, plan, and conduct analysis of assigned projects as directed.
  • Assist in the creation of Excel spreadsheets, including graphs, statistical analysis, and data compilation.
  • Assist in the interpretation and dissemination of guidelines.
  • Maintain office continuity during emergencies.
  • Maintain Performance Metric Reports for senior leadership.
  • Create and maintain monthly and ad-hoc reports for leadership personnel.
  • Prepare materials (correspondence, presentations, etc.) for conferences, meetings, and appointments.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and replies to inquiries, gathering information from diverse sources.
  • Maintain office calendars, arrange meetings, and take meeting minutes.
  • Organize and maintain a centralized filing system.
  • Create, enter, save, retrieve, edit, file, and present text, spreadsheets, and charts.
  • Maintain calendars for branch/division staff (15-30 employees).
  • Review written correspondence for grammar and punctuation.
  • Assist staff in preparing materials for conferences, meetings, etc.
  • Conduct analysis of assigned projects and perform varied clerical and secretarial duties.
  • Provide oversight of day-to-day administrative actions, including short-lead suspense items.
  • Communicate new procedures to subordinate offices and request necessary information.
  • Answer phones, manage inquiries for senior leadership, maintain the office calendar, schedule meetings, take meeting minutes, and maintain the filing system.
Required Experience/Clearance
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or under general direction.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience.
Desired Experience
  • Experience working in a government or military environment.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel features (e.g., pivot tables, macros).
  • Experience with project management software.
  • Experience with performance metric reporting and analysis.
