Job Title: Content Asset Manager

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 days' Work from home.

(Can be located in Bellevue, WA, Frisco, TX, or Overland Park, KS.)

Note:

  • Should be flexible schedule for day, afternoon, and graveyard shifts, weekend shifts, on-call, and holidays.
  • Occasional domestic travel may be required. (Rarely)


Description:

  • A Content Asset Manager supports the creative development process by managing brand, campaign, and partner assets.
  • These experts of asset/media management - source assets, production media, completed projects, etc ensure handoff is thorough, complete, and correct, organize and store within a centralized system (DAM/server), and, ultimately, share with all marketing channels.
  • As a member of the Content Asset Management team (CAM), believe rock-solid process, rigor, and cutting-edge tools/technology are critical to making creative operations workflows more streamlined and time- and cost-efficient; you must operate according to, evangelize, and constantly improve this CAM way of working.
  • Must balance left-brain logic and analysis, with right-brain creativity and intuition, while CAM is not responsible for creating content, we are a critical partner for creative teams.
  • Will be expected to actively, and sometimes proactively, engage with and support teams through all phases of creative development, from kick-off to project wrap, because creative deliverables are deadline-driven, CAM must ensure teams have assets when they need them, and that all asset-related processes and checkpoints are addressed per the overall workback schedule.
  • In addition to working with colleagues in Studios, will build relationships across the enterprise, as well as with the external agencies and partners that support key marketing objectives and video/photo productions.
  • This role engages with people of varied titles/roles and teams that focus on different creative outputs, from those that create television commercials to teams that are responsible for internal employee communications, so anticipate variety in what work on day-to-day.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage assets, production media, and/or completed media leveraging a centralized system (DAM/server).
  • Provide asset support to Studios creative projects + LOB campaigns - from kick-off to wrap-up.
  • Leverage tools and technologies to make creative operations processes more efficient.
  • Introduce new tools and technologies to stay current with industry trends.
  • Communications, coordination, and end-user support.
  • Responsible for additional duties/projects assigned by business management when needed.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Adobe Creative Suite: Familiarity with the basic suite of photo, video, and design tools to assess asset quality and perform daily tasks.
  • Obsessed with order and processes: This role manages a large volume of assets across multiple projects, so a keen attention to detail and being consistent with processes is a requirement. Identify process efficiencies to simplify and streamline asset management and help build new processes in partnership with manager + teammates.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset: An answer should rarely end with "no, we can't" - think creatively and proactively and draw-up a plan B and C.
  • Be a team player: When necessary, dive in to help teammates. Keep in mind that successes are a reflection of the whole team, and so are improvement opportunities, so it's important to have each other's backs.
  • Critical thinker and investigative: Don't be an order-taker, be inquisitive and ask follow-up questions to truly understand a request or question. Find answers with minimal to no guidance.


Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Digital Asset Management (DAM), Information Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, Film/Video Production or related field.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience organizing and managing large sets of assets across an ecosystem of tools linked to a DAM, and fulfilling asset requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven creative environment.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in involving in the creative development process, in production operations, or in a client services capacity. Have awareness of when asset-related milestones need to be addressed.
  • 2 - 4 years of Familiarity with Business Affairs principles - most importantly, licensing, clearances and usage rights. Understand their impact on the production and/or creative development process.


Preferred Skills:

  • Adobe Experience Manager: The client's new DAM (Digital Asset Management) will be in Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Assets, and Asset Share Commons, currently using Acquia/Widen for DAM. (Familiarity with these platforms is a plus.)
  • Agency experience is a plus.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in developing and implementing asset/media management or creative operations processes and policies; and working to ensure compliance.
