As a Armed Security Officer - Healthcare in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer at this shelter location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This armed post requires you to carry a sidearm while conducting routine patrols and interacting with individuals on site. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting a positive environment. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the shelter and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor the location for any unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and granting entry to authorized individuals.
• Document all security-related incidents and observations in daily activity reports.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Texas Armed Security Officer License.
• Must have an Armed Designation as required by Texas regulations.
• Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or possess a college degree.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
