As a Security Professional - Education Site in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a education site professional in an educational setting, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, students, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Your responsibilities include monitoring access, managing badge entry, and remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming and orderly environment, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. This is a stationary post focused on access control and supporting the daily operations of the location.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist visitors, students, and staff at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence in the education location.
• Carry out security procedures and follow site-specific policies related to access control and visitor management.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the premises.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of visitors, incidents, and other front desk activities.
• Communicate with campus personnel and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information requests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Minimum of 2 years of security experience required.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
