The ideal candidate will possess outstanding analytical abilities, a meticulous attention to detail, and a deep-seated enthusiasm for the insurance sector. As an Insurance Product professional you will dive into the dynamic world of insurance product evaluation and development. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to cater to the evolving needs of our clients and fuel the expansion of our business.

What will you do in this role?

Review and prioritize product change requests to ensure consistency in underwriting, product effectiveness, and compliance.

Analyze requested product changes, identify potential issues, and consider their context and impact on other products.

Collaborate with colleagues to seek clarification when needed and provide feedback and recommendations on product change implementation.

Develop clear and accurate requirements for product change system implementation with guidance and supervision.

Conduct testing to verify that product change requirements align with business expectations and compliance standards.

Work closely with our technology team (BTS) to address reported defects and ensure seamless integration of product changes into our systems.

Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure accurate representation of products in our systems.

You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

About You:

What you need to have:

Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel & Power BI

Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven track record of driving results and delivering actionable insights in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and objectives.

Identify challenges and proactively develop solutions without waiting for direction.

Ability to work under minimal supervision and perform with high levels of autonomy.

Ability to anticipate needs and act on opportunities without being prompted.

Clearly convey ideas and updates to team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration.

What we prefer you to have:

Relevant experience in insurance, product management, or analytics.

Demonstrated research skills, even if it's from coursework or independent projects.

Familiarity with basic insurance principles, even if it's from introductory courses.

While experience with specific tools like Product Studio is preferred, a willingness to learn and adapt is equally valuable.

An understanding of insurance regulation or product development functions, even if it's from coursework or self-study.

Role Factors:

In this role, you will typically be required to:

Embrace the hybrid culture offered at AXIS, you need to be in office 3 days per week.

Much of the work involves using computers for data entry, analysis, and communication. Comfort with prolonged screen time is necessary.

While much of the work may be desk-bound, there might be occasions requiring mobility within the office environment, such as attending meetings or accessing filing systems.

What we offer:

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of 55k-75k (NYC, NJ, GA). Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.

In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance.
