*Description*
We are seeking a skilled Conferencing Services Technician to support the upgrade and implementation of conference room technology across several offices. The Conferencing Services Technician will be responsible for planning and executing operational and installation activities for audiovisual (AV) systems. This role involves coordinating with internal IT teams, facilities, business clients, and vendors to ensure successful installation and deployment of new conference room technology. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and Execute AV Installations: Lead the planning and operational activities for AV installations, ensuring adherence to established standards and design templates. * Technology Deployment: Manage complex technology deployments for conference room management, ensuring compliance with corporate and divisional policies and procedures. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with local site facilities and IT teams to scope out and execute full AV installations, ensuring successful conferencing experiences. * Project Management: Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, including schedule, scope, budget estimations, and risk mitigation. * Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders and users regarding upcoming changes, downtime, and training opportunities related to AV systems. * Vendor Coordination: Act as a liaison between IT and clients, coordinating with vendors to ensure successful implementation of technology deployment projects. * Quality Assurance: Deliver all technology deployment projects within scope, on time, and within budget, adhering to QA practices and identifying process improvements. * Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) responsible for the implementation, operation, troubleshooting, and vendor escalation of AV equipment, including conference AV and unified communication systems. * Change and Innovation: Champion change and innovation, making decisions with a global perspective. * Risk Management: Identify risks and develop contingency plans for conference room deployments and upgrades. Skills and Qualifications: * Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of AV systems, including Cisco Video Conferencing hardware (MX, SX, and Room) and Cisco Control Hub. * Leadership and Organizational Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build professional relationships with staff and clients. * Communication Skills: Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills. * Problem-Solving: Ability to interpret technical needs and offer solutions, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. * Dependability: Courteous, punctual, and dependable, with a willingness to work early and late hours to accommodate a global scope. * Technical Support: Experience with interoperability between MS Teams and Cisco, and familiarity with Cisco Call Manager and MS Teams Admin. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
