The Vice President for Gather & Deliver Workflows - Product Management owns the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for our SurePrep and SafeSend suites of products. Together, our tax data gathering and tax return delivery solutions provide automation and accuracy across tax preparation workflows helping our tax & accounting firm customers save time and provide more delightful experiences to their end clients who are taxpayers, family offices, small-medium businesses as well as large companies. Our customers include the world's largest accounting firms to solo-prenuers.

The VP will lead our product teams in partnership with Technology and Design to build solutions that address our customers' most pressing problems with products that are user-friendly and valuable to our customers while driving profitable growth for the business. In addition, deliver a best-in-class firm end-client experience with an emphasis on ease of use. This market is prime for disruption with the advancements in generative AI and increased focus on accounting firms being more efficient and providing better experiences for the end clients. We need a leader of leaders to take our market leading solutions to the next level.

You will lead a high-performing global team of 50+ product managers to define and deliver world-class products that continue to deliver double-digit revenue growth and best-in-class customer pNPS.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Vice President, Product Management - Gather & Deliver Workflows you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Gather and Deliver Workflow products, APIs and integrations that serve our Thomson Reuters customers as well as other software providers as part of our open ecosystem strategy.

  • Be part of transforming the future of tax preparation with advanced technologies like generative AI, agentic AI and machine learning.

  • Role-model and drive practices of customer engagement to meet and anticipate their needs.

  • Leading, coaching and actively developing a team of product management professionals.

  • Closely partnering with leaders in our design, tax content and technology teams to increase velocity of time to market while ensuring high levels of product quality and value.

  • Work closely with go-to-market and professional services organizations to ensure the commercial success of our products.

  • Lead with data driven decision-making to drive monthly active use, adoption and product usage. Work to enhance product usage analytics and systematize user testing platform.

  • Deliver revenue growth across the largest sub-segment in the Tax, Accounting & Audit Professionals business unit by ensuring a high-quality, high-impact product and service delivered to all users.

Responsibilities & Deliverables

  • Own Gather & Deliver Workflow product management process from concept to design, testing, deployment and support.

  • Set long-term product vision, strategy, roadmap and delivery plan for Gather & Deliver Workflow, continuously raising the bar on innovative solutions to solve customers' problems. Outlines the path towards achieving customer outcomes & business growth objectives in short and long term.

  • Champion the needs of all customer segments with a focus on delivering the industry's best experiences for Thomson Reuters offerings.

  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships (with tech development, customer experience design, marketing, etc.) to deliver high-value products.

  • Provide leadership and direction for experienced, global teams under their direct and indirect authority.

  • Persuade senior executives and other internal and external stakeholders to gain wide acceptance of the strategy; relentlessly prioritizes to drive value for customers and TR, ensures that priorities and tests tie to the overall business strategy.

  • Lead business case creation for product investments and monitoring and reporting on financial and operational results.

  • Mature the Product Management practice within our organization and across Thomson Reuters as a whole.

  • Represent Thomson Reuters to external industry and customer groups, including in presentations and demonstrations.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Vice President, Product Management - Gather & Deliver Workflows if your background includes:

  • Experience: 10+ years in product management, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role ideally at a B2B SaaS company. Experience and curiosity about advanced technologies like Generative AI, agentic AI, AI/ML.

  • People Leadership: Strong people manager with ability to transform organizations, lead through change and influence at all levels of the organization. Create environment defined by trust, psychological safety and collaboration.

  • Ownership: Highly accountable, efficient, results-oriented and operates with sense of urgency

  • Problem solver: intellectually curious, challenges 'the way things have always been done' and constantly strives to identify better ways to do things. Assess where and how to compete while delivering on current and future opportunities.

  • Product Sense: Passion for solving customers' pain points and delivering easy to use solutions that simplify complex processes

  • Data-Driven: Strong analytical mindset and track record of using data to drive decisions

  • Technical Acumen: Comfort working with strong engineering teams and understanding agile software development

  • Clear and concise communicator who can excite and motivate teams internally and drive alignment

  • Ability to thrive in and navigate matrixed organizations

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $185,500 - $344,500.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
