Summary:

This role is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory processes, reporting key metrics, and leading system implementations to improve operational efficiency within the supply chain. This role ensures operational efficiency by optimizing inventory management, reducing waste, and driving strategic initiatives. By aligning supply chain functions with business goals, it supports production, repair, and sales efforts, ultimately improving customer satisfaction and profitability.

Responsibilities:



  • Inventory & WIP Management - Develop and maintain inventory and WIP dashboards for real-time tracking.
  • Reporting & Analysis - Generate reports on inventory levels, WIP, and past-due items to support decision-making.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration - Work closely with Operations, Finance, Purchasing, and Sales to optimize inventory strategies.
  • Customer-Focused Inventory Support - Ensure inventory availability for spares and wears based on customer needs.
  • System Implementation Leadership - Lead the implementation of the MES Cronetwork scheduling system.
  • Process Improvement - Conduct monthly reviews and analysis to reduce unused inventory and enhance efficiency.
  • Stock Optimization - Adjust safety stock and minimum buy levels based on historical usage data.



Required Skills/Abilities:



  • Analytical Thinking - Strong ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
  • Supply Chain Expertise - Deep understanding of inventory management and supply chain operations.
  • Technical Proficiency - Experience working with MES and scheduling systems.
  • Communication & Collaboration - Ability to effectively interact across multiple departments.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset - Proactively identify challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.



Physical Requirements:



  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
