We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Marketing Operations Analyst with a strong focus on budget management.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the efficiency and effectiveness of our strategic marketing operations while overseeing and optimizing the marketing budget. You will provide key insights into financial performance, campaign expenditures, and budget forecasting, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure resources are aligned with strategic marketing objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Lead tracking and execution of the marketing budget across various campaigns and initiatives

  • Ensure marketing spend is aligned with overall business goals and financial targets

  • Regularly monitor budget performance, highlighting variances, risks, and opportunities for optimization

  • Collaborate with finance and senior leadership teams to forecast future budget needs, allocate resources efficiently, and reconcile budget allocations

  • Prepare regular forecasts of marketing expenditures and projected expenditures to ensure accurate and timely tracking

  • Provide actionable insights into the effectiveness and ROI of marketing initiatives, helping teams adjust strategies based on financial data and to ensure financial compliance

  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for cost savings

  • Analyze and streamline marketing campaign processes to improve accuracy and speed

  • Develop and implement systems for budgeting, recording actuals, and tracking marketing spend

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing operations, financial analysis, or budget management within a marketing environment; a B2B or digital marketing environment is a plus

  • Proven experience managing large marketing budgets and financial forecasting

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights

  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets or similar financial or budget management software

  • Knowledge of marketing metrics, KPIs, and ROI analysis

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and report findings effectively

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to drive results through your job competencies of attention to detail, technical aptitude and collaboration

  • Ability to drive results through NAVEX core competencies of accountability, customer focus, drives results and instills trust

  • The starting pay range for this role is $31.25+ per hour.
