Location - Williamsburg. VA ( USA) - Onsite

Summary

Provides technical training and support for specific applications encompassing portable metrology in the manufacturing industry for key customers.

Job Responsibilities

* Performs software and hardware training for key customers in Williamsburg. VA ( USA) - Onsite

* Frequently travels to conduct training for major manufacturing companies across the US

* Provides technical support to customers virtually and in-person

* Creates and edits training material and technical documentation

* Assists regional sales team in providing support for local customers

* Maintains positive customer relationships through effective interaction

* Continually develops in-depth knowledge and understanding of Hexagon's broad and expanding product portfolio

* Generates additional business through positive interactions with customers during onsite visits

* Keeps up with advancements in application engineering and modern technologies

Qualifications

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Comfortable speaking before small groups

* Proficient with MS Office

* Eager to learn new skills for modern advanced technologies

* Experience with 3D engineering software

* Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment

* Strong Customer Service Skills

* Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience

* 6 months to 2 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or similar environment

Physical Demands

* Frequently in a stationary position for long periods of time; occasional bending/kneeling

* Manual dexterity required for keyboard use, operating equipment, grasping objects

* Regularly move around the office and factory floor to manipulate metrology equipment

* Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

* Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and adjust focus

* Frequently communicates with other employees and customers

Work Environment

* Primarily a customer onsite setting, with frequent visits to the factory floor

* Work-from-home allowed in a low-noise environment for meetings and calls on no-travel weeks

* Paid travel to various locations on East Coast , and occasionally Midwest, West Coast, or Canada

* Office space also provided and is clean, orderly, properly lighted, and ventilated

* Factory noise levels are considered moderate

* When required, PPE will be provided

* Will require travel up to 70%
