The Opportunity
This role is to serve as a strategic partner and key liaison between assigned business units and the technology department. The Senior Digital Analyst serves to bridge the gap between business objectives and technology capabilities, partnering with each business unit to understand their unique needs, refine problems, and champion technology solutions from concept to successful adoption.
What You'll Do
- Acts as a trusted advisor and single point of contact for assigned business units, representing the Technology group with Business Unit leadership and representing the Business Unit with Technology leadership.
- Proactively partners with the business in the identification and preparation of new project requests, including initial scoping and feasibility assessments.
- Leads the development of comprehensive business cases, including detailed cost-benefit analyses and ROI projections, to ensure alignment with Ulteig's strategy and maximize the benefits of technology.
- Leads unbiased needs assessment exercises, incorporating market research and competitive analysis, to ensure business needs are thoroughly understood prior to technology solution selection.
- Leads the technology solution selection process, evaluating built, bought, and partnered solutions, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership. May oversee vendor negotiations.
- Ensures that all stakeholder requirements for assigned projects are identified, documented, and communicated effectively to the project team. Manages stakeholder expectations proactively.
- Drives adoption and proficiency of new technology use across the business through targeted training, communication, and support programs. Measures and reports on adoption rates.
- Partners effectively with the technology project office group to ensure all technology initiatives follow consistent processes, have well-defined success metrics, and deliver demonstrable return on investment.
- Partners consistently and effectively with other areas of the technology group and with partners in other areas of the business. Acts as a change agent and drives collaboration to rapidly deploy technology that aligns with strategic priorities.
- Leads the management and negotiation of contracts in coordination with other stakeholders, legal, and procurement as appropriate.
- Conducts post-implementation reviews, analyzing project outcomes and identifying areas for improvement. Develops and implements recommendations for future projects.
- Develops and delivers advanced training materials and user documentation for new technology implementations, including online tutorials and knowledge base articles.
- Partners with the technology project management team manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle, proactively communicating project status and potential risks. Facilitates workshops and meetings with business users, employing advanced facilitation techniques, to gather requirements, prioritize needs, and build consensus.
- Maintains a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in partnership with Strategy department teams. Shares knowledge and insights across the organization.
- Contributes significantly to the development of the technology roadmap for assigned business units, aligning with overall technology strategy and providing thought leadership on future digital initiatives.
- Develops and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) related to technology usage and business impact. Provides regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Champions the use of technology within the business unit, acting as a thought leader, advocate for innovation, and driver of change and adoption.
- Collaborates with the IT support team to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of implemented solutions. Identifies and resolves escalated issues.
- Proactively assesses risks and develops comprehensive mitigation plans. Escalates critical risks to senior management.
- Collaborates consistently with the Technology organization and across Ulteig's operations to secure adequate internal or external resources to support projects. May manage project budgets and resources.
- Mentors and coaches junior digital analysts.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships internally and externally.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Often exercises discretion and judgment as related to the performance of duties and responsibilities.

What We Expect from You
- A bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field is desired. A 2-year degree considered with experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the technology or engineering field. Experience in business related functions such as management, strategy, operations, finance, and/or HR are beneficial.
- Experience interviewing stakeholders and compiling user requirements
- Ability to apply analytical skills in the development and review of business cases for technology requests
- Demonstrated success in driving technology adoption and change management. Change management certification is desirable.

- Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $108,000 - $146,000
