Job Duties/Scope Of Work

At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. As an Engineering Programs Lead with the CPCCo, you will be an important part of the engineering team responsible for ensuring our workforce is able to safely reduce risks on the Hanford Site and make a real difference to the environment and community.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Maintaining engineering programs and procedures. * Interpreting Engineering Codes/Standards and DOE Orders * Advising engineering organization on conduct of engineering principles * Reviewing procurement related documents and subcontractor submittals to ensure engineering procedures are being met * Coordinating the efforts of a variety of technical disciplines to ensure integrated and complete designs that meet requirements * Working on a daily basis with management, support organizations, operations and maintenance to accomplish project goals and objectives by providing timely and sound technical direction. * Contributing to design, process and procedures work as necessary for safe operation and implementation of nuclear safety, environmental and regulatory requirements * Assessing flow down of top tier documents into engineering programs and implementation of engineering programs.
Basic Qualifications
* Career Level Grade 18: Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with 6 or more years of relevant experience.
* Career Level Grade 19: Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with 8 or more years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
* Professional Engineering (PE) License. * Previous experience as a Design Authority or System Engineer. * Understanding of Engineering-related DOE Orders and Standards. * Previous experience working at a DOE facility (experience working at a DOE Hazard Category 2 or 3 Nuclear Facility preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
* Career Level Grade 18: $106,663 - $134,588
* Career Level Grade 19: $117,225 - $147,775
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
