Overview:

This role involves managing various aspects of agency (Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac / ASTM) scope Property Condition Assessments (PCA) and Property Condition Reports (PCR) including technical report review, report editing/delivery, and client interaction. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ASTM, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac inspection and report requirements, experience in field inspection, report preparation, report technical review/revision, and the ability to maintain effective communication across multiple teams. This role requires staying current with industry related regulations/guidelines, and ensuring all draft, revised and final reports are accurate and in compliance with the specified scope of work and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

* Act as primary client point-of-contact regarding requested report revisions and requests for final report delivery
* Conduct onsite Property Condition Assessments, with willingness to travel regionally 10% of the time on an as needed basis.
* Facilitate requested report change requests and deliver revised reports to clients in a timely manner
* Write professional Property Condition Assessment reports in accordance with ASTM, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac standards and client-specific scopes of work
* Conduct initial PCA and PCR technical reviews in accordance with the contracted scope of work, regulatory standards and agency requirements within the specified reporting deadlines
* Ensure that the PCA report writing process and other quality control guidelines are followed and that final reports and presentations are completed per production guidelines and client's specifications
* Track project progress and deliverables through Rimkus' reporting platforms
* Develop and maintain report templates to meet the requirements of industry protocols
* Develop and maintain department databases and informational resources
* Ensure that projects achieve budgeted levels of contribution to overhead and profit by actively managing costs related to time, travel, and materials, and discussing any significant variations with the Client Manager and/or Practice Leader.
* Mentor staff in inspection procedures, report writing and agency requirements
* Assist in training/onboarding newly hired junior staff
* Assist weekly team meetings with updates to regulation and/or protocol changes, workflow, and technical updates
* Willingness to take on new tasks, undertake additional training, and learn new skills as appropriate on behalf of Rimkus. The Senior Professional will be required to perform other duties as assigned by senior-level personnel
* Work from a remote setting with organizational support

What you will need:

* Minimum Bachelor of Science or Arts degree, preferably in engineering or architectural studies
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in conducting, writing and reviewing agency scope PCAs/PCRs
* 5+ years of work experience in a professional office setting
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
* Exceptional writing, grammatical, and verbal communication skills
* Advanced computer literacy
* Highspeed internet access

Compensation:

* Salary plus company bonus plan

The Salary Range for this position is $83,300 - $124,900 and is dependent on education, experience, location and certifications/licensure.
