Warranty Warehouse Specialist - Roseville, CA

We have an opportunity for a Warranty Warehouse Specialist to join our Roseville, CA team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse. There will be daily use of Salesforce and SAP/ERP systems. This position will be responsible for dispatching warranty calls, parts exchange, inventory management and the safety, cleanliness and security of the warehouse and training areas. This individual will assist sales and service and provide world class customer service to internal and external customers while assisting in warranty reduction.

You will:

  • Check voicemail, email and other correspondence and reply in a timely manner.

  • Evaluate and validate requests for warranty and dispatch work orders in Salesforce and monitor dashboard to ensure customers are being serviced in a timely manner.

  • Order stock for region ensuring you have the proper parts volume to support in field warranty.

  • Perform weekly cycle counts per the process. Participate in audits with the goal of passing at 100%.

  • Process RMAs and return product to the factory for product evaluation weekly.

  • Receive incoming freight and stock shelves using FIFO method.

  • Ship parts requests, request for returns via UPS or other freight method as required.

  • Sort, Scrap and Straighten to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

  • Perform on site service team inventory as required.

  • Have a positive attitude, be a team player and continually be part of the solution for process improvements, implementation and support.

  • Work closely with sales, service, quality, engineering and product teams to communicate any product issues in the field

  • Follow all Pentair and department policies and procedures.

  • Work a schedule required by the demand of the season.

  • Improve skills and increase knowledge relating to the job.

  • Perform work with little or no supervision required.

Key Qualifications:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Great follow up skills.

  • Full ability to frequently stand, walks, sit, bend, lift, and reach with hands and arms.

  • Intermediate knowledge of pool repair, terminology, and activities.

  • Computer literate.

  • Ability to accurately count and manage inventory.

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

  • Full ability to organize multiple tasks and successfully communicate work order status with all departments.

Education and/or Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in the pool industry. Should understand warehouse management and repair parts. Computer literacy required.

Work Environment

The employee may be exposed to heavy lifting and high temperatures in buildings without air conditioning while performing the duties of this job.

Shift/Hours: 1st shift 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mon-Fri with OT and possible weekends

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated hourly base pay will $31.00 per hour. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
