Ad Operations Specialist - Digital

About the Role:

The role is responsible for supporting advertising operations by serving as the primary contact for incoming stakeholder requests and managing the delivery of paid advertisements across the U.S. Key duties include trafficking ads via ad servers, managing multiple projects with competing priorities, maintaining inventory schedules, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery, and analyzing key performance metrics. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external suppliers, primarily supporting Corporate Sales initiatives, with occasional global project involvement.

Responsibilities

Sales Support

• Collaborate with Corporate Sales colleagues to set up new advertising projects, including managing bookings in Microsoft systems, clarifying production workflows, and setting project schedules.
• Support revenue growth by identifying opportunities to organically expand business with existing clients.
• Contribute to the achievement of Commercial Sales revenue targets through:
  • Accurate and timely booking of campaigns
  • Clear and efficient production workflows
  • Effective scheduling
  • Strengthened internal collaboration

Ad Operations

• Monitor and manage the ad trafficking process to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.
• Ensure creative assets are properly formatted and aligned with booking specifications.
• Manage the shared ad operations inbox, addressing regionally focused queries and bookings from assigned Account Managers.
• Collaborate with agencies (e.g., PMI) and other stakeholders to coordinate bookings, resolve inventory queries, and maintain timely and relevant campaign placements.
• Provide team support during high-volume periods or when colleagues are on leave.
• Contribute positively to team dynamics through strong collaboration and communication.
• Ensure ad delivery meets specifications and timing requirements on Wiley Online Library (WOL).

It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
