About the Role:

Leads a team of RMMs (Regional Marketing Managers) responsible for building connections with National, Regional and emerging Thought Leaders (TL's), gaining insights, building customer advocacy and implementing marketing strategy in support of business objectives

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Liaise compliantly with cross-functional stakeholders such as field medical, sales, marketing, market access, corporate affairs, and other areas to advance brand objectives/strategies

  • Support individual brand teams in Psychiatry, Neurology and Long-Term Care as well as Medical Marketing, Patient Marketing and Digital Marketing on various projects and insights to support the brand objectives for both Tardive dyskinesia and HD Chorea

  • Holds team accountable for development of regional business plans focused on the strategic imperatives for current Neuro/Psych Franchise products in collaboration with key stakeholders

  • In coordination with the Field Medical Affairs, Sales teams, Key Account Managers, and Other Field stakeholders, ensures an integrated and well-coordinated approach to managing relationships and activities with individual thought leaders and local/national organizations as needed to meet brand objectives/strategies

  • At all times, ensures compliance with all corporate polices, regulations and laws

  • Effectively leads and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Medical Marketing:

    • Leads team in executing local peer-to-peer program activities in the region including overall investment management, program reviews, approvals and individual speaker selection

    • Guides team in executing annual peer-to-peer program activities in the region including, identification of emerging national and new regional thought leaders, speaker selection process, collection of feedback in support of the annual content development process, speaker training and workshop facilitation

    • Support of the broader Speaker Bureau across Advanced Practice Providers, Psychiatrist, Neurologist, Long-Term Care providers. Attends aligned speakers programs periodically to evaluate the speaker and provide on-going coaching and product knowledge support presentation skills coaching

    • Leads team in planning, coordination and execution of regional conference plan, including TL engagements

    • Supports planning and execution of HCP advisory boards, and other ad hoc home office TL engagements

    • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in marketing, business, health policy, scientific or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing and sales OR

  • Master's degree and 8+ years of similar experience as noted above

  • Experience leading a team and successfully managing direct reports

  • Strong communicator and skilled diplomat in all venues, including the ability to effectively combine scientific knowledge and communication skills (strong clinical and business acumen)

  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues

  • Track record of building strong cross-functional relationships with medical, legal, regulatory, advocacy, compliance, marketing, and corporate communications colleagues

  • Demonstrated capabilities in the areas of strategic thinking, initiative, problem solving and entrepreneurial spirit with experience effectively applying those skills to product positioning and messaging

  • Able to maintain a consistent focus in an ever-changing environment ensuring strategic alignment for commercial success

  • Consistently demonstrates enthusiasm, confidence, and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, as well as prioritizes effectively to meet individual, team and company goals

  • Emerging as an internal thought leader with technical and/or business expertise

  • Applies in-depth knowledge of own area of expertise to solve problems

  • Applies in-depth understanding and may guide others on how own discipline integrates within the department as well as impact to other departments and understands contribution to Neurocrine's achievement of business objectives

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $168,400.00-$243,700.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
