With supervision, processes pathology reports and all other reports and correspondence generated by the Department of Pathology, from specimen registration and accession through distribution of diagnoses. Provides administrative support to Laboratory department management. Ensures efficient office operation and the smooth flow of communications. Qualifications EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent. Secretarial school certificate or equivalent relevant experience. EXPERIENCE Two to three years of administrative assistant experience. SPECIAL SKILLS Must possess excellent customer relations and word processing skills. Must be familiar with other computer software. Transcription experience preferred. Medical Terminology required.
