Our Business Unit Lighting and Imaging offers challenging lighting and image transmission solutions for applications in the markets of automotive, aviation, medical devices, as well as industrial and safety engineering. With production units in Europe, North-America and the worldwide SCHOTT sales organization Lighting and Imaging is a leading supplier for fiber optic components.

Your Contribution
  • Creates solid models, assemblies, and drawings using Solidworks.
  • Modifies existing solid models, assemblies, and drawings based on engineering redlines.
  • Converts legacy pencil drawings to 3D CAD models
  • Executes design project(s) in support of manufacturing engineering objectives.
  • Initiates and implements formal drawing revision changes.
  • Responsible for observing and following all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and procedures.
Your Profile
  • Understanding of ASME Y14.5 with demonstrated proficiency in GD&T.
  • Proficient with Solidworks CAD software.
  • Strong technical acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills: listening, writing, speaking and oral presentations.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Able and willing to work with others on a team.
  • Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required.
