Department Summary The Financial Aid & Scholarships (FAS) Office is dedicated to assisting students in achieving their educational goals by providing impactful financial aid support. The FAS Office is responsible for processing financial aid applications, administering various financial aid programs, and offering comprehensive financial aid counseling to students and their families. Position Overview This position is responsible for determining eligibility for and awarding all aspects of federal, state and institutional financial aid and scholarships while remaining in compliance with all federal, state and institutional regulations and policies. Educates students and families about financial aid and scholarships while enforcing federal, state and institutional policies and procedures within a fast paced, team centered environment. Responsible for specialized tasks/projects within team. Utilizes and updates various application software programs. Serves as a liaison between students/parents and other university personnel and related federal and state agencies. Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree and two years' of office administration experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required License/Registration/Certifications As a condition of hire and continued employment, must be in good standing on all federal student loans and must grant permission for the office to access the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) to verify such standing. Job Duties:
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with occasional nights/weekends. Driving University Vehicle: No Security Sensitive: This is a Security Sensitive Position.
