Overview

Selective is seeking a Team Lead who is well versed in the space of "Content and Collaboration" (SharePoint, MS team) & "Low Code Platform" (Microsoft Power Platform). As a part of our growing Center of Excellence (CoE) services the team lead will be responsible to help lead projects, drive strategic initiatives, and help build/mature COE services around the SharePoint, Power Platform & MS Teams


Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains productive working relationships with project sponsors, key systems users, end-users, and other IT functions as a part of CoE touchpoint
  • Provide technical leadership, create documentation for projects & CoE needs including design, asset inventory, diagrams, and presentations as well as documentation of the environment and deployment for support and future implementations
  • Supervises and guides the design and development activities for entire applications. Design, develop, program, and implement systems to specifications, and develop/coordinate execution plans.
  • Formalizes project and CoE activities and guides the project/initiative/activity to completion. Prepares regular status reports.
  • Works closely with Solutions and Enterprise Architects to create / review implementation designs
  • Support formulation of the platform specific CoE vision, strategy, value proposition and drive execution of the CoE services
  • Partner with functional areas and other CoE teams to identify and maximize deployment opportunities
  • Supervises developers, as appropriate, and assigns project staff. Estimates staff resource needs for developers, user personnel, consultants, and equipment. Plans team member work assignments and schedules, and guides and monitors work productivity and facilitating proactive issues and risk identification and resolution

Qualifications

  • Well versed with the Agile based methodologies for software development life cycle
  • Possesses excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with people in other departments and/or outside of the enterprise.
  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Good Knowledge of PowerShell Script, REST API, SharePoint Services, SPFX Framework, MS Team, Power Platform capabilities (in space of power apps, power automate, virtual agents)
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Drive to master emerging technologies and share experiences with organization
  • Experience in setting up or working in CoE teams aligned to the platforms
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science, or related field preferred.
  • Seven plus years of developer/analyst experience in the space of SharePoint, MS team, Power Platform

The actual base salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective's footprint. Additional considerations include relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance, and business needs.
