Description Key points The infrastructure/ APPS role is a "Jack of all trades" position, involving server administration, monitoring, and some scripting/automation work. Ideal candidates have a background in management information systems or computer information systems, rather than pure computer science. The role primarily supports the company's AI platforms, including the claim center application, document generation, and data services. This will support the ECM team, they are building robots, using AI / RPA and automation to move away from manual processes in the business. While the role does not involve extensive cloud work, experience with cloud platforms could be beneficial. Application Infrastructure with a focus on supporting external AI platforms On-Prem and Cloud Infrastructure Experience administrating both on-prem and cloud applications Configure and optimize servers, databases, and storage systems. Experience with AI cloud platforms a plus Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes a plus Experience with cloud platform administration tools a plus(example: Terraform) Automation & Scripting Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools for infrastructure deployments, configurations, and maintenance. Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages preferred. Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible or Jenkins is a plus. Monitoring & Performance Implement and maintain monitoring tools to track system performance and uptime. Analyze logs and metrics to identify and resolve issues, optimizing system efficiency. Ensure security compliance by enforcing access controls and vulnerability management policies. Ideally Lansing location. 4 days to start and shift to 2 days after training. Skills Windows, System administrator, Administration, Linux, Office 365, Exchange, Sccm, Security, Powershell Additional Skills & Qualifications Communication - Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Good conceptualization and abstraction skills; ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely Proactive and Goal Oriented - Understands project vision and goals and possesses the drive to produce required daily deliverables and project milestone deliverables. Highly motivated and willing to put in the time and effort necessary to get the job done in the timeline provided Planning and Organization - Effective at managing time and prioritizing tasks. Team work - Enjoys working in teams with a diverse group of people Attitude - Looking for a challenge and a positive attitude Methodology - Willingness to learn and work in an agile methodology.
