IEM is looking for a Full Time - Software Project Manager with experience in leading web application development projects while ensuring high-quality outcomes and rigorous compliance standards. Primary Location:
- Candidates can originate from anywhere in the United States.
- Candidates will work from home or personal office location and travel within United States & Puerto Rico based on business needs.
Essential Functions:
- Lead and coordinate technical audits, such as CMMI and SOC2, to validate compliance and continuously improve quality and security processes.
- Drive initiatives by establishing and refining process improvements, developing standards and templates, and implementing best practices.
- Mentor project teams, promote continuous improvement, and facilitate effective communication across departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and timelines, while identifying and managing risks.
- Plan, execute, and deliver web application development projects on time and within budget, ensuring alignment with business goals and quality standards.
- Facilitate agile/scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.) and ensure adherence to agile project management methodologies.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular status reports to leadership with actionable insights on financial performance.
- Occasional travel may be required for stakeholder meetings, audits, or training sessions.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Three (3) - Seven (7) years of demonstrated experience managing web application development projects.
- Proven experience in leading technical audits, specifically with frameworks such as CMMI or SOC2.
- Strong background working within or supporting a PMO environment, including process improvement initiatives, establishment of standards and templates.
- Hands-on experience managing project budgets and financial oversight.
- Proficient in agile/scrum methodologies and capable of facilitating agile project ceremonies and practices.
- Demonstrated experience with change and scope management, including a proven track record of managing evolving project requirements and effectively communicating adjustments to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CSM (Certified ScrumMaster).
- Additional certifications related to agile practices or process improvement.
- Experience managing low code/no code implementations.
- Hands-on familiarity with the Atlassian suite of tools (such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket) to support agile project management and collaboration.

- Remote Work: All remote work environments require the ability to maintain minimum Internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices using your Internet connection. You must also have account privileges and access to your Internet service provider account during working hours for the purposes of maintaining the Internet connection, if needed.
