Job Summary

The HR Systems Optimization Manager will serve as a strategic partner to the HR function, leading HRIS system optimization efforts and ensuring the seamless operation of our digital HR ecosystem. This role manages a small team and plays a critical part in improving the employee experience, driving data-informed decisions, and advancing the functionality of our HR digital platforms. The ideal candidate blends system-savvy leadership with a passion for process improvement and analytics.

Salary Range: $80,100.00 to $133,300.00 USD

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership & Collaboration



  • Lead and mentor a small team of HR systems analysts or specialists
  • Serve as the primary HR business partner for digital tools, collaborating with IT and cross-functional teams
  • Translate business needs into system solutions that are user-friendly and scalable


System Optimization & Innovation



  • Identify opportunities to optimize workflows across systems such as UKG, Intellum, Microsoft Suite, and more.
  • Lead configuration updates, test changes, and manage rollout communications
  • Evaluate digital HR tools and support implementation of new technology
  • Manage HRIS access aligning with best practices and company security


Data & Reporting



  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and tools that enable real-time insights into key HR metrics
  • Apply basic HR data analytics and formulas to analyze turnover, engagement, compensation equity, and more
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver reports and visualizations that support strategic decision-making


Project Management & Training



  • Lead or support HR technology projects from design through execution
  • Oversee change management efforts, including user training and documentation
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and manage support tickets or escalations



Supervisory Responsibility

This position manages employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees.

Education

Minimum:



  • 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field



Experience

Minimum Years of Experience



  • 4 + years of experience in HR systems or digital HR roles; 1+ year of people leadership preferred



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Proficiency with at least one major HRIS platform (Workday, UKG, ADP, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Excel or Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)
  • Familiarity with HR analytics concepts (headcount, attrition, DEI, compensation metrics)
  • Preferred AIHR, SHRM, or HRCI certification
  • Strong interpersonal and change management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills



Working Conditions and Physical Requirements



  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time in an office environment
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, tools, and to handle other computer components
