Function:

Finance & Accounting Job Summary:The Credit Analyst II is responsible for performing CF Industries' credit function, performs complex analysis on accounts to review credit worthiness. You will assist in development, maintenance and implementation of credit policies and procedures intended to minimize the company's credit risks from counter parties. In addition, you will support cross-functional initiatives, with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage and control delinquent accounts to limit risk and reduce bad debt losses.
  • Analyzes and reports on credit worthiness of customers and financial counterparties through credit applications, credit reports, and financial statements.
  • Monitors customer activity and recommends revisions to credit levels and limits as needed.
  • Responsible for requesting credit documentation from customers, parental guarantees and when appropriate, investigates order holds due to credit issues and recommends resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Oversees and maintains processes and procedures to meet departmental internal control requirements to ensure that established processes/procedures are followed as designed.
  • Incumbent will need to work within deadlines and outside regularly scheduled hours, including rotating weekends on-call.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required; bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Prefer 5+ years as a financial analyst and/or credit experience required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • SAP/S4, Salesforce, & Oracle preferred.

This position is responsible for maintaining the credit risk associated with CF's sales revenue of approximately $5.94 billion. The Company has hundreds of agricultural and industrial customers that range in size from very large national companies to small private companies. The Credit Analyst is responsible for annual, sometimes quarterly reviews of accounts to identify & mitigate risks with a subset of customers.

In addition, this role requires:

  • Someone who will take lead with Sales & Customer calls and/or meetings as it comes to risk analysis.
  • Being able to adapt your day-to-day schedule with high priority requests that may across your desk.
  • Have a process improvement mindset.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment in our busy Spring & Fall seasons.

The estimated base pay for the position is typically between $60,300 - $79,515

The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.
