We're currently seeking a Quality Engineer to play a vital role in maintaining and advancing our commitment to our core beliefs of Safety, Quality, and Production. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Develop and approve new products, ensuring compliance with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing quality concerns and requirements. Respond to quality issues with effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. Lead cross-functional teams in pursuit of quality goals and continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to internal and external quality systems and industry standards. Conduct and lead internal and external audits to identify gaps and ensure compliance. Monitor quality data and KPIs to support strategic decision-making. Organize and facilitate quality initiatives and training events across the facility. Apply statistical control methods to analyze performance and drive improvements. Provide daily support to production teams with a focus on OEE, FTQ, customer satisfaction, and scrap reduction. All other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Education Qualifications: Proven experience in quality engineering, ideally within a powder metal or related manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive approach. Demonstrated leadership ability and experience guiding cross-functional teams. In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). Experience conducting quality audits and managing related documentation. Proficiency in statistical process control and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent communication and organizational skills; capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
