Job Description Summary

We're currently seeking a Quality Engineer to play a vital role in maintaining and advancing our commitment to our core beliefs of Safety, Quality, and Production.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and approve new products, ensuring compliance with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) standards.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing quality concerns and requirements.

  • Respond to quality issues with effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in pursuit of quality goals and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure adherence to internal and external quality systems and industry standards.

  • Conduct and lead internal and external audits to identify gaps and ensure compliance.

  • Monitor quality data and KPIs to support strategic decision-making.

  • Organize and facilitate quality initiatives and training events across the facility.

  • Apply statistical control methods to analyze performance and drive improvements.

  • Provide daily support to production teams with a focus on OEE, FTQ, customer satisfaction, and scrap reduction.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in quality engineering, ideally within a powder metal or related manufacturing environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive approach.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability and experience guiding cross-functional teams.

  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).

  • Experience conducting quality audits and managing related documentation.

  • Proficiency in statistical process control and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

  • Bachelors Degree or 3-5 Years Quality Engineer experience
