Intern, Corporate Development

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the Corporate Development team with market research and analysis of potential M&A opportunities, partnerships, and new business ventures.
• Assist in the preparation of financial models, presentations, and reports for senior management and executives.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives by analyzing industry trends, competitor landscapes, and business growth opportunities.
• Help conduct due diligence on potential acquisition targets or strategic partners.
• Assist in the evaluation and creation of business plans, pitch decks, and other strategic documents.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and Operations, to facilitate corporate development projects.
• Support the execution of corporate transactions by providing administrative and operational support.
• Track and monitor industry news and updates relevant to corporate development strategies.
• Assist with preparing reports and presentations for board meetings and executive reviews.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, with a major in Finance.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• A basic understanding of corporate development activities, such as M&A, strategic partnerships, and market research.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to use excel and PowerPoint at a high level.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
